We here at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort continuously strive to improve not only our service standards but also our facilities. As such renovations and beautification of the Resort is a never ending task.
The poolside area at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel is one of the most popular and also most photographed areas, especially when it it comes to spectacular outdoor theme functions. The main pool (as we like to call it), can cater for outdoor banquets up to 2500 people and this has also then the venue for our annual new year celebrations amongst many other.
We are currently busy to touch up the area around the main pool at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, by adding a bit of greenery and colour to the area. The below artist impressions will give you an idea of what it is like now and what it will look like when down.
Main pool area
The below image is a floor plan of the main pool area where the beautification work is taking place

The below images is the far corner of the main pool
Top picture is what it looks like now and below is after beautification work

The below images are the area on the side of the main stage, currently with some small plants, this will be replaced by small trees

Just below the main pool is a area we call the Sunset terrace. There is a short walkway joining the two areas. In the below images you will see how this area will be improved

Not many people know this but most of the main pool patio is actually the roof of our banquet store where we store things like banquet table and chair.
Currently we have some large trees in the area, which are very messy and not green all the time. These will be replaced with palm trees and some climbing plants

The main pool area has a large stage which is used mainly for very large groups of over 1000 persons. For smaller groups up to a 1000 persons we have a smaller stage, this will be beautified with some art work

Most probably the most visible change of all is the addition of lawn areas on th steps around the patio area of the main pool.
This is being done as we speak and it is really very beautiful, adding some more greenery to the paved areas

We hope that you will have the opportunity to visit us in the near future so as to see these changes for yourselves. If you would like to see some more images of the main pool or the rest of the resort, then please follow this link to our photo page

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort has been championing environmental conservation since its establishment in 1973. It is the first Resort Hotel on the Eastern Seaboard to have its own water treatment plant and the first in Thailand to achieve ISO 14001 Certification.

Measures implemented by the Resort in support of environmental conservation include formulating and implementing an environment policy, using treated waste water for gardening and flushing, recycling waste, planting endangered trees, encouraging staff and guests to minimise power consumption through an energy saving campaign and involving the local communities in beach and road cleaning activities.
The environment policy of the Resort is implemented in the strictest way to maintain and improve the environment. With the involvement and support of its executives and staff, the Policy Guidelines are implemented in letter and spirit. Under the policy, an Environment Management Committee (EMC) has been set up with the Resort’s executives who volunteered to oversee implementation of these Guidelines.

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort is the first Resort Hotel in Asia to achieve both the Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001:2004 and the Quality Management Standard ISO 9001 Certifications.
In recognition of its practices, the Royal Cliff Beach Resort was presented with the prestigious EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Monitoring Award four times from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in 2000, 2002, 2004 and 2006.

Pattaya, Thailand - The Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), the world-class meetings facility of the multi award-winning Royal Cliff Beach Resort, is all set to host large-scale events for as many as 8,000 delegates under one column-free roof from 31 March.
By virtue of a billion-baht (USD 31.67 million) expansion plan, the capacity of PEACH was extended from 5,800 to 8,000 delegates further strengthening its position as the largest convention centre on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand.
Already one of the main convention venues in the kingdom, the extended facility will elevate Pattaya as the destination of choice in the global congress market. Commenced in August 2006, the extension project is scheduled for completion by this month end.
Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, Managing Director of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort and PEACH, said in a statement that the expansion programme would help the venue to facilitate large-scale events that were going to outgrow the existing facility or that could not be accommodated in Pattaya because of space constraints.
As part of the expansion plan, nine new, flexible breakout rooms with capacities ranging from 60 to 208 delegates were set up to complement the existing nine Pattaya Rooms. With the addition of 1,600 sq m of extra space, the reception and lobby area has increased to 3,700 sq m, making it ideal for receptions, delegate registration and circulation.
An additional 2,200 sq m was added to the existing hall, giving a column-free space of almost 7,000 sq m with a total seating capacity of up to 8,000 delegates. A second entrance was also provided to give access to a self-contained area for smaller events.
A brand new food preparation base was constructed for the Resort’s award winning team of Thai and international chefs. A new coffee shop was also set up to add further choices to the already extensive range of culinary delights offered in the 10 restaurants of the Resort. Seating up to 280 people, the PEACH Coffee Shop offers mesmerising views of the Gulf of Siam.
PEACH is situated within the grounds of the award winning, 5-star Royal Cliff Beach Resort, which comprises 4 hotels with a total of 1,090 rooms and a host of meeting and leisure facilities.
Within the Royal Cliff Beach Resort there are an additional 15 meeting rooms seating from 48 to 1,200 delegates.
