Delegates from 11 Asian countries attended the fifth PATA Orient Chapters Regional Conference held at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel in Pattaya recently.

High on the list priorities for discussion by the 33 delegates was the suggestion that the San Francisco headquarters be relocated at a site in Honolulu. All delegates expressed support for the proposal as the Orient Chapters felt that the present site is far too distant from the area it is seeking to promote.

Flying in on TWA the IATA Airline ticket agents and whole sale tour operators will visit Bangkok and the Pattaya Beach Resort. In Bangkok the groups will stay at the Hyatt Rama Hotel while accommodation in Pattaya has been offered by the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel. The three educational tours are expected to arrive in early March.
