Guinness at the Royal Cliff

Perhaps our headline states the obvious, but for about 500 visitors from Italy recently, the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel was rewarding in a special sense of the word. They were all members of the Italian division of the giant Bosch automobile components company and each one was on holiday at the Cliff as a reward for a job well done.

There are as yet no air, rail or sea routes between Bangkok and Pattaya and access is only by road. Groups are normally transported direct from Don Muang Airport to the hotel by luxury air conditioned coaches. The journey takes about two and half hours.

As predicted in last month’s “View from the Cliff”. Thai International annual marketing conference was also the occasion for some fun and games.
