Royal Cliff Beach Resort to Broadcast KBS World

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort recently signed a contract with Korean Broadcasting System to broadcast programmes of the premiere Korean channel - KBS World - for the entertainment of guests staying in its four 5-star hotels – Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, Royal Cliff Terrace, Royal Cliff Grand & Spa and Royal Wing & Spa.
KBS World is a global television channel offering a non-stop stream of Korea’s most successful programmes including, dramas, news, documentaries, current affairs, entertainment and animations. Up to 10 hours of programmes a day are provided with English subtitles making them more accessible to a global audience. The channel will be made available for viewing in various rooms and suites of the four hotels from 1 July.
Set in 64 acres of lush tropical parkland between Jomtien and Pattaya, the Royal Cliff Beach Resort is a 5-star resort property comprising four hotels offering 1,100 rooms and suites, 2 spas, 10 restaurants, 5 bars, 5 swimming pools, 7 floodlit tennis courts, fitness centre, 4-hole putting green, Thai cooking school, exclusive beach, private catamaran and extensive meeting and banqueting facilities, including 3 ballrooms and 21 meeting rooms as well as the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) – a self-contained world-class multi-purpose convention and exhibition centre.

Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) to Increase Capacity

The Pattaya Exhibition & Convention Hall (PEACH), will soon be able to bid for conventions of 8,000 delegates. So far, the maximum capacity of conventions has been 5,800 but an ambitious US$8 million expansion plan will start this autumn.
“We have been missing out on some of the larger international conventions,” admitted Ms Panga Vathanakul, Managing Director of PEACH and the adjacent Royal Cliff Beach Resort, “and the additional breakout rooms will give us greater flexibility too.”
The expanded hall can be divided into three soundproof or one large and six smaller sections. Separate meeting rooms will also be added to the four-storey building on the slopes of a cliff and set amidst 64 acres of tropical parkland.
The convention and exhibition hall on the first floor currently occupies an area of 4,851 sq m and there are nine breakout rooms with theatre style capacities ranging from 50 to 150 delegates.
PEACH is situated within the grounds of the award winning, 5-star Royal Cliff Beach Resort, which comprises 4 hotels with a total of 1100 rooms and a host of meeting and leisure facilities. Within the Royal Cliff Beach Resort there are an additional 12 meeting rooms seating from 50 to 1,500 delegates.

The multi award-winning Royal Cliff Beach Resort re-launched its English language website – http://www.royalcliff.com – in eight additional languages on 22 May 2006 with a view to catering to the information needs of its growing number of domestic and foreign guests.
The website was launched in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Thai languages. Announcing this, the Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s Managing Director Mrs. Panga Vathanakul said: “We are delighted to re-launch our website in Thai and seven of the most widely spoken languages in Asia and Europe apart from English. Our decision to construct the multi-lingual website was aimed at providing travellers and business partners in Asian and European markets with a chance to better understand our world-class products and what the exciting resort city of Pattaya has in store for them.”
The website incorporates an easy-to-use booking facility which provides instant confirmation of reservations in all the featured languages, Mrs. Panga added.
