Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s Restaurants Win Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence”

Three of the restaurants in the Royal Cliff Beach Resort have won the Award of Excellence 2006 from the Wine Spectator magazine of New York.
The restaurants which won the coveted awards are Grill Room & Wine Cellar, Rossini (Italian Cuisine) and Chrysanthemum Palace (Cantonese Cuisine). While it is the 4th consecutive achievement for the Grill Room & Wine Cellar and the 3rd for Rossini, Chrysanthemum Palace won the award for the first time. Previously, the Grill Room & Wine Cellar received the award in 2003, 2004 and 2005, while Rossini was the recipient in 2004 and 2005.
A popular Chaînes des Rotisseurs International-accredited venue located at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, one of the four 5-star hotels of the Resort, the Grill Room & Wine Cellar offers international grilled specialities and a wine cellar with over 1,000 fabulous wine labels from all over the world. A recently built outdoor terrace provides spectacular views of the sea. Gourmet set menu is available daily from Bt 850++.
Situated at the Royal Cliff Grand & Spa, Rossini is the Eastern Seaboard’s definitive “ristorante Italiano” serving authentic Italian regional cuisine and home-made pasta specialities. It also offers sizzling degustation (Special Set Menu) daily.
Also located at the Royal Cliff Grand & Spa is the Chrysanthemum Palace, the perfect choice for elegant Chinese dining and Cantonese specialities. Dishes are prepared by a Hong Kong chef. Four VIP Dining Rooms are available for those discerning guests who wish to dine in luxury and privacy.

Royal Cliff Beach Resort is Venue for “Yellow Night” Organised in Honour of His Majesty The King

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort was recently the venue for “Yellow Night” organised as part of the regional conference of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Association (APPA).
The conference, which was held at the Royal Cliff Grand & Spa – one of the four 5-star hotels of the Resort, included workshops titled “Vaccinology 2006: Focus on Rotavirus and Poliovirus in Asia” and “Update Vaccine 2006: Asian Perspectives”, an exhibition by pharmaceutical companies as well as social meal functions. The exhibition was held at the Grand Deck that offers stunning views of the Gulf of Siam.
As part of the conference, the Pediatric Association of Thailand hosted a dinner themed “Yellow Night” in honour of His Majesty the King at the Siam Ballroom, Royal Cliff Beach Hotel. The event was attended by over 200 doctors, professors, exhibitors and members of APPA.
