Royal Cliff Beach Resort Celebrates Chinese New Year with a Magnificent Gala Dinner

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort celebrated the Chinese New Year – the Year of Pig – with a magnificent gala dinner on Sunday, 18 February 2007.

Held in all its traditional, exciting colour and splendour by the picturesque poolside of the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, the buffet dinner featured a sumptuous selection of Chinese delicacies, spectacular dragon dance show, lion dance show, Chinese cabaret and much more. Guests were entertained by the Ariolas de Bailamos Band. Besides, they also had a chance to win wonderful prizes in a Lucky Draw held by Cai Sheng, the Chinese Deity of Fortune. The fabulous event culminated in a dazzling display of fireworks.

Royal Cliff Beach Resort Hosts Cocktail Party for Regular Guests

The multi award-winning Royal Cliff Beach Resort recently hosted a “Cocktail Party” for its regular guests at the picturesque Panorama Restaurant, Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, that offers stunning views of the Gulf of Siam and Koh Larn (Coral Island).

Welcoming an august gathering of over 80 regular guests, the Royal Cliff Beach Resort General Manager Mr. Alexander Haeusler briefed about various projects completed in 2006 to improve the facilities and services at the Resort such as renovation of the Royal Cliff Terrace, extension of the pool patio, addition of the new Lotus Club Lounge and improvements to the Orchid Ballroom at the Royal Cliff Grand & Spa.

The Resort hosts the party every year in appreciation of the invaluable support and continued patronage of the guests.

ICCA Working Group Inspects Royal Cliff Beach Resort and Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH)

The Local Host Committee Working Group of International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA) recently inspected the Royal Cliff Beach Resort and PEACH (Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall), the venue for the 46th ICCA Congress & Exhibition being held from 27 to 31 October 2007.

Led by ICCA Events Manager Ms. Mieke van Loenen, ICCA Events Project Manager Mr. Nigel Brown and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau Conventions Director Mrs. Suphrabha Moleeratanond, the Working Group inspected the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel, Royal Cliff Grand & Spa, Main Pool, Sunset Terrace, PEACH and other venues and facilities of the Resort.

Later, Ms. van Loenen observed: “We are used to working in a different venue every year but we are looking forward to working in this great facility. In fact, we are already ahead of where we would normally be at this time and this has been greatly helped by the response times of the Local Host Committee.”

ICCA was founded in 1963 by a group of travel agents to evaluate practical ways to get the travel industry involved in the rapidly expanding market of international meetings and to exchange actual information related to their operations in this market. Headquartered in the Netherlands, ICCA is one of the most prominent organisations in the world of international meetings. It is the only association that represents the main specialists in handling, transporting and accommodating international events and comprises 800 member companies and organisations in over 80 countries worldwide.

Themed Thailand 2007 - Fast Forward, the 5-day ICCA Congress & Exhibition, which will also incorporate the ICCA General Assembly, is expected to attract more than 700 delegates from all over the world.

Royal Cliff Beach Resort Guests Present their “Hearts of Gold” on St. Valentine’s Day

Several discerning guests of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort presented their “Hearts of Gold” to their loved ones on St. Valentine’s Day by joining a truly romantic dinner – HEART OF GOLD – by the picturesque poolside of the Royal Wing & Spa.

The event featured a delicately crafted 5-course menu with a “Golden Friendship” Cocktail for two, complimentary red rose corsage, pralines in a “Golden Heart”, romantic melodies by pianist & female vocalist and much more that made the evening enchanting and unforgettable!

Special Valentine Packages, including a night in a Royal Wing Suite or a Honeymoon Suite and a special Romantic Spa treatment, were also offered to make for a truly unforgettable occasion.

The picturesque, free-form Swimming Pool of the Royal Wing & Spa where the Valentine’s Day Dinner - HEART OF GOLD - was held.

Royal Cliff Wine Club Organises Californian Winemaker’s Gala Dinner

The Royal Cliff Wine Club, Asia’s leading wine club, recently organised another sterling event – Californian Winemaker’s Gala Dinner – at the Orchid Ballroom, Royal Cliff Grand & Spa.

The event offered a selection of fabulous wines produced by the world-renowned and multiple awards winning Seghesio Family Vineyards of California, USA.

Along with five finest Seghesio wines, this prestigious event offered Seppelt Stony Peak Brut N.V. as the reception wine and a masterfully crafted multi-course menu.

The stunningly decorated venue welcomed over 170 members and friends of the Wine Club. Mr. Ranjith Chandrasiri, President of the Royal Cliff Wine Club and Deputy General Manager of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort, welcomed the gathering. The event was co-sponsored by the Bangkok Beer & Beverages Co., Ltd.
