Pattaya, Thailand - HRH Princess Ubolrat Ratchakalya Siriwattana Pannawadi graciously presided over the official launch of the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) Expansion Ceremony on November 22, 2008. Marking the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort, the PEACH expansion now makes the convention center the second largest meeting venue in Thailand, placing it squarely on regional and global agendas. PEACH was officially inaugurated by HE Gen. Prem Tinsulanonda in November 2000.
The “Glamour and Glitter” reception brought together leaders in government, tourism, business and professional organizations to celebrate both the 35th anniversary of the Royal Cliff and the PEACH Expansion Launch. A dazzling event, reflecting the 5-Star luxury standard maintained by the Royal Cliff Beach Resort for decades, the guests enjoyed songs and dances performed by stars in the entertainment industry as well as multi-media presentations, light shows and fireworks. The evening climaxed with a moving tribute to HRH Princess Ubolrat’s To Be Number One program, which focuses upon positive alternatives for teenagers at risk, which is also aligned with the Royal Cliff Beach Resort mission statement in being the number one in the hospitality industry.
The Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) is a world-class multipurpose exhibition and meeting facility of the award-winning Royal Cliff Beach Resort offering complete versatility and flexibility. PEACH has 6-levels in a stand-alone complex occupying 10 acres. The convention and exhibition hall accommodates up to 8,000 persons theatre-style or 3,640 for banquets. The hall is highly flexible and can be divided into 4 large soundproof sections or into 10 smaller sections. There are also 18 breakout rooms with various capacities ranging from 25 to 320. PEACH has access to the extensive facilities of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort, comprising 4 luxury hotels, 2 Spas and the Royal Cliff Sport and Fitness Club, all set in 64 acres of exclusively reserved mature tropical gardens cascading to a private beach…

Royal Cliff Beach Resort last Saturday hosted a thank you party titled “Grand Fiesta Night” to show our appreciation towards those agents whom have support the Royal Cliff Beach Resort during the year.
Without the continuous support of local agents the Royal Cliff Beach Resort would not be where it is today and we sincerely thank all agents for there valuable support.
Everybody was truly amazed by the vibrant atmosphere of a truly fiesta with colourful decorations and props lighting up the venue. Cocktail tables and the buffet looked charming, covered in multi-coloured cloths and ribbons. Our resident band entertained guests with famous tunes of various genres such as, samba, bossa nova, lambada, salsa and reggae. Highlight of the evening were definitely the Fiesta performance by our Bangkok Sales team who put up a very colourful dance Fiesta performance which really got the party going.
A spread was laid out by Chef Thenisch and the F&B team and guest enjoyed the best of Latin cuisine and beverages including Mexican delights such as crispy tacos, enchiladas and sweet piña coladas!
